Oxygen therapy to small children is a challenge. The most known method nasal catheter is filled with discomfort. Children will pick out the device, unless they are sedated or old enough to cooperate. If you place a mask on the pillow, they will remove the mask and turn their face away from the oxygen naturally avoiding the discomfort. For the current, sufficient non-invasive oxygen therapy, is reserved for sedated patients or patients old enough to cooperate. That is a problem, because small children deserve the same qualified threatment as adult patients.
