For those of you who haven’t heard of Med-e-Tel before, it’s an annual event brought to you by the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH). This event is critical to fulfil ISfTeH’s mission as it works to share Telemedicine and eHealth knowledge globally.
This year, the WeObservatory will be presenting a special session around “Empowering Women in eHealth and Telemedicine through Education”. The WeObservatory, launched in partnership by Connecting Nurses and the Millennia2025 Foundation, is a digital inclusion platform dedicated to global health challenges.
There are some exciting topics to be discussed during the session. Veronique Thouvenot, from the Millennia2025 Foundation, and Lilia Perez-Chavolla, an ICT Applications Consultant, will share more about WeObservatory’s new Intelligence (Massive Open Online Courses) MOOCs. These MOOCs are focused on global health, women health, and Information Communication Technologies (ICTs). They are open to everyone and the knowledge shared can empowering all, especially women, through Education on eHealth and Telemedicine
There will be others speaking about the following topics:
