Nurses have registered for an award in one of the following two categories:
Helping hand
3000 Euros to support the success of their innovation, which will feature on the Care Challenge website for 2 years.
Nurses in the Limelight
Professionally produced video displaying their innovation, which will feature on the Care Challenge website for 2 years.
In April 2012, a total of 20 award recipients will be selected by an independent Jury [See: www.care-challenge.com/en/rules], based on the following criteria:

. The concept behind your innovation
. Social responsibility through improved access to education, patient self-management and care . Adaptability to other settings or regions . Cultural appropriateness . Promotion of health literacy . Impact of the innovation in the community . Sustainability

My full support to Telehealth for the Elderly group from the Philippines. It is a current trend and demographic issue that needs further research. I am also a researcher and based on my review of high impact journals, the topic is a response to the needs of the society.
